Replacing the floors the subdivision came with.
Most Kennesaw flooring work is in family houses from the Cobb building boom: slab-on-grade, builder carpet, vinyl in the kitchen, and a stair that was an afterthought. A smaller set of older houses near the depot does not match that stock. JRF confirms the address and the scope before scheduling.
Family houses with builder floors
The useful question in Kennesaw is usually what the builder left, and which rooms have outgrown it.
Humidity comes in through the garage and the bath
A Kennesaw slab does not have a crawl-space story. It still sits in a Georgia summer.
The same trades, planned for this housing.
Hardwood, tile, carpet, luxury vinyl, laminate, and kitchen and bathroom remodeling are available on qualifying Kennesaw projects. The address still has to be confirmed.
Kennesaw project questions
Stairs, the garage step, and the bath floor are the three details that change a subdivision proposal.
Can you replace builder carpet and kitchen vinyl in one visit sequence?+
Yes, when both are in the scope. They are measured together so the kitchen, the hall, and the stair landing meet at a finished transition.
Do the stairs have to be included?+
They do if the floor at the top or the bottom is changing. Leaving the old carpeted stair against a new plank is how the nosing becomes a trip edge.
Is a slab house limited to vinyl?+
No. Tile is a strong option, and some engineered products are candidates when the slab is dry enough. Solid hardwood is rarely the right board on these slabs. We say which one after the visit, not from the year the house was built alone.
Tell us which floors are still the builder's.
Carpet, vinyl, and the stair are enough to start a Kennesaw scope.
Completed projects include a 1-year warranty that starts at project completion.
