Floors for bungalows, ranches, and high-rises.
Atlanta houses do not share a subfloor. An intown bungalow, a southside ranch on a slab, and a Midtown high-rise are three different installs. JRF takes qualifying projects in the city and confirms the address before scheduling.
Three Atlantas, three floors
The floor that makes sense follows the structure under it, not the neighborhood name on a listing.
Summer air, crawl spaces, and concrete
Atlanta's summer air is heavy. What that does to a floor depends on whether the room sits over dirt or over a slab.
The same trades, planned for this housing.
Hardwood, tile, carpet, luxury vinyl, laminate, and kitchen and bathroom remodeling are available on qualifying Atlanta projects. The address still has to be confirmed.
Atlanta project questions
Coverage is confirmed for the address. These are the conditions we ask about first.
Do you work in intown houses and in high-rises?+
Yes, on qualifying projects. A bungalow and a tower are scheduled differently because of the subfloor, the access, and the building rules. Send the address and we will say whether we can take it.
Can original hardwood in an old Atlanta house be saved?+
Sometimes. We look at thickness, earlier sandings, and whether a damp crawl is still cupping the boards. Sanding a wet or a too-thin floor makes a smoother version of the same problem.
What should a ranch on a slab consider first?+
What is glued to the concrete, and whether the slab is dry. Luxury vinyl and tile are the usual candidates. Laminate and solid oak are not assumed just because the room is above the outside grade.
Send the Atlanta address and a photo of the floor.
Bungalow, ranch, or high-rise: the first visit is about the subfloor and the rooms you want changed.
Completed projects include a 1-year warranty that starts at project completion.
